I think Tally and Shay do have it exactly right. I do think that what the models are doing is a disease. I think they would be just as nice if they looked like them natural selves.

I chose this picture because I think that the smoke is a old city town deep within the woods.

"Bug Eyes"

1. She wakes up to a smoldering hot fire
2. A man puts an oxygen mask on Tally's face after he picks her up in a helicopter.
3. Tally learns about fires and helicopters from the people who saved her called the Rangers.
4. The Rangers then teach Tally teach Tally about the flowers.
5. Tally reaches the bald head riding in the helicopter and waits.

"Firestorm"

Imagery:
Then a tearing noise filled the air, the crackle of dry brush inflamed, and the smell of smoke swept over Tally, bringing her suddenly and completely awake. pg.172

Yes I have done something that I didn't want to do but I did it because I promised my friend Ben if he scaled the side of the creek at his land than I would do it too, even if I fell. I scaled the creek in a breeze.

I think that tally decides to leave because she made a promise to Peris.
She had know Peris longer than she has Shay . Even though she has know Shay for a little bit she wants to be pretty and go see Peris.

3. Is given the note that shay gave her

"Peris"

I think Peri's came back to find out what really happened with the surgery. I Think he knew that she went to special circumstances but he just wanted to know why.

"Ugly for life"

In this quote they are saying that People new she was there but they didn't want to look at her because they new that she might be an ugly her whole life. She knows they can see her and that means that she is seen or visible.

I think next Tally will be asked about her friend leaving the perimeter to go see David.

"Last Trick"

In this quote Shay is trying to get Tally to go to the place where David lives but Tally Doesn't want to go. What Shay is trying to say is that if they go they don't have to look like everyone else or in other terms they can stay the same and nobody will make fun of you.

"Fight"

The first fight was not real to scare the new uglies before they left ugly ville. They were just messing around.

The second fight was the real fight when Tally was trying to get Shay to become a pretty and Shay didn't want to become one.

"Waiting for david"

What they are saying in this quote is that they are not use to the raining but they had been taught this in school. they Never have had this happen to them because everything has to be perfect and raining isn't perfect.

"The Rusty Ruins"

They get to the Rusty Ruins and Tally is in aw of the city.Shay says she wants to show Tally the roller coaster. they hover board on the whole roller coaster till Tally goes over a broken piece and fall down the slope. Luckily there was a piece so her hover board would work and she lived.Shaw wanted her to see one more thing, as a matter of fact one person.....

Pretty Boring

Describe the Rusty Ruins and what they are.

The rusty ruin is an old town outside the limits of Uglyville and New Pretty Town. It is old to the Uglies and Pretties, but for us it is the time we are in right now.

WOW! I am so glad I get to talk about this. 2/4/2010 we played Shultz Jr. High. It was a neck tie till the end a three point buzzer beater for Shultz to tie the game and go into overtime. It was very nerve racking or the part where the peer pressure kicked in . If you messed up once the game was over. There was no waisting time by shooting, passing, passing, passing till the end. We were in the bonus and I got a foul called on me so I got to shoot 2 free throws. I could hear my team mates on the bench! I knew that the pressure was on for me to make these two shots to get us closer to a victory. It was scary. If I missed it would be horrible. I made both of them which made me want to win even more. There was two seconds left, they shot and missed a three pointer! We won the game by 3 points! Fortunately, this was positive peer pressure and not the negative peer pressure that happens so much to other kids our age.

"facing the future"

1- I think in this passage they are trying to say that they want everyone to feel good about themselves and that you can hate yourselves till you are sixteen. You hate yourself enough and an ugly person which makes you want to get the surgery done.

2-In this passage I think that they are trying to say that when they are pretty they all will like each other and no one will hate anyone or make fun of them when they are pretty.

3- In this passage I think they are trying to say that when you get the surgery every one will see you as an equal and no one will think you are ugly referring to passage 1 & 2. They want you to get the surgery so everyone is equal or pretty.

I think they don't come back because they think they are to good for the uglies and that they don' want to show their face there because they think that they will be made fun of by the other pretties.
when they get the morph or surgery their skin is peeled off their bones lifted in their cheeks and then they get all new skin for their body.
